The Asian Federation of Medical Specialties (AFMS) is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization, registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013, Government of India. It was conceptualized on 16 June 2024 and incorporated on 06 February 2025 under the Registrar of Company (RoC), Ahmedabad, Gujarat with Corporate Identity Number, U85500GJ2025NPL158662. It has developed to promote specialty and subspecialty medical practice through credentialing, supporting, educating, and networking with medical and healthcare professionals worldwide. It is also involved in defining an academic curriculum for different medical specializations, administering certification examinations, and provides credential certifications to healthcare professionals.
